FitIQ is an iPhone app that helps you understand your body’s proportions and dress for them. This policy explains what information the app uses, why, and the choices you have. FitIQ is published by Hokfam.

The short version

• FitIQ uses your camera only while you scan, to read your proportions.
• Photos stay on your device unless you choose to save them.
• We don’t sell your personal information.
• You can change camera and notification access at any time in iOS Settings.

Information you give us

During onboarding FitIQ asks a few optional questions – who you’re styling, a first name, your goals and the looks you like – so it can personalise the app. You may also add photos of clothing to your wardrobe, upload a photo of yourself for your fit model, or try pieces on in Style Studio.

Body scans and measurements

When you scan, FitIQ uses the camera feed to estimate measurements such as height, bust, waist, hips, shoulders, neck, arm, inseam and thigh, and to work out your body type, fit score and colour palette. These results are saved in the app so you can compare future scans. Some features, such as styling suggestions and virtual try-on, may process images you choose to submit in order to return results to you.

Permissions

Camera is used only for scanning and for photos you choose to take. Photos access is used only when you pick an image to upload. Notifications are optional and used for reminders such as when it’s time to rescan. You can grant or revoke each permission in Settings on your iPhone.

Purchases

FitIQ Premium is sold through Apple’s App Store. Payments are handled by Apple; we don’t receive your card details. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple ID settings.

How information is used

We use the information above to provide the app’s features, personalise recommendations, keep the app secure, and fix problems. We don’t sell your personal information or use your body scans for advertising.

Keeping and deleting your information

Your scans, wardrobe and preferences are kept until you delete them or delete the app. Premium members can also export their data from within the app.

Children

FitIQ is not directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
